#BLCGuide – Apple Day at Stanmer Park

It’s a going to be a nice quiet weekend here in Brighton but if you love apples as much as our Student Services Coordinator, Rosie, then you‘re in for a treat.

This Sunday sees the beautiful orchards at Stanmer Park transformed into a celebration of all things appley. There will be a variety of fun and interesting activities for both children and adults. And of course fresh juice and cider made from a traditional apple press.

How to get there:
Bus numbers 78, 23 and 25 all go out on the Lewes Road and stop at Stanmer Park.

#BLCGuide – Brighton Color Run

The most fun and colourful 5k you will ever see will be back in Brighton on Saturday 20th September at 11am.

Just visit the website for more information about the course and head down to the finish line to watch the crazy, colourful celebrations.

Head for the city centre and down to the seafront to Madeira Drive to brighten up your weekend.

#BLCGuide – Tour of Britain

Sir Bradley Wiggins will be racing through Brighton on Saturday trying to defend his Tour of Britain title. This is Britain’s biggest cycling event and it is sure to attract big crowds so choose a good spot to watch the action.

The riders will race down Lewes Road before heading up one of the steepest hills in Brighton city centre on Bear Road. At the top they will turn right and head downhill on Wilson Avenue before sprinting for the finish line on Madeira Drive.

How to get there:
Head for the city centre and down to the seafront. Follow the crowds and try to find a good viewpoint.
